This program captured the lives of dwindling celebrities and revived Flavor Flav's career. Flavor Flav became a reality TV star when he joined the cast of the "Surreal Life". This hype man certainly stirred enough interest in his own life, and "Flavor of Love" is one program in his entertainment arsenal. This phenomenon started with Flavor Flav, a former rapper who is now famous just for his reality show antics. I enjoyed listening and Lacey has also done interviews with other contestants from Flavor of Love, Rock of Love, and I Love New York.Celebreality features some of VH1's most unique programs that give viewers a glimpse into the daily life of a celebrity. Y’all need to watch the entire podcast! Of course Monique saw the viral clip and she even responded. Y’all there was a lot that she had to say about Monique including how Monique’s team allegedly was trying to snap photos of her in an inebriated state at an event. Of course at the time, Monique was the bigger star so Larissa was suddenly uninvited to attend. She was told that for a particular event that both she and Monique were invited to that if Larissa was going to be in attendance then Monique was not going to show. In the conversation surrounding Monique, she details an incident that Monique, allegedly, had black listed her from events. Despite that she was ready to leave and that production filmed that episode to appear that Larissa was the contestant to be sent home that night. What’s also interesting is that Larissa revealed that she in fact technically was not eliminated from the show! She revealed that she quit the show even after being told that she was not going to be eliminated that episode. She also expressed how she felt targeted by Monique and how she feels Monique was not being her authentic self and her attempts to appear motherly were forced and fake. Looking back, it does seem like Larissa was targeted by production to be the villain of the show. ![]() She revealed that Monique was one of her favorite comediennes at that time but she and Monique did not get along which is evident from watching the show. Basically she and the other ladies where brought to the set under false pretenses. However, after arriving, she was taken by surprise that what was presented to her was completely different from what she signed up for and that she was shocked to see Monique as the host of the show. The idea was presented that the other ladies would be competing for a spot to work directly with Kimora and her Baby Phat empire. Larissa revealed on the podcast that, when she initially was invited to do another reality show, she was under the impression that the show would be somewhat like the Apprentice and that Kimora Lee Simmons was hosting the show. If you are not aware, Larissa and Monique have butted heads on the reality show Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School. But moving on to what everyone is talking about and that is the viral clip from the podcast where Larissa discusses Monique. She did discuss other things related to the show such as the casting process, and even her cast mate Tiffany Pollard aka New York. Larissa even spilled the tea that Flav stated off camera that he was not interested in getting into a relationship from the show and that he was really interested in just creating friendships. ![]() They have remained friends and have even hung out together. Later on in the podcast she also informs us of the status of she and Flav’s relationship. ![]() She tried out for the show and from their she was granted a spot to come into the house. She explained that she wasn’t really looking into getting on tv and that she was approached by someone affiliated with the show to try out! It’s interesting to note that season 1 of Flavor of Love was still airing and they had already started casting for season 2.
